The Wrenford Youth Hockey League is a volunteer-run group that coordinates peewee, bantam, and midget hockey teams for the upcoming winter season. If you have a child aged 5 to 18 who wants to play, this is the place to join.
The league uses the Westbrook Community Arena, located at 40 Westbrook Drive. The arena features two ice pads and a community hall, providing plenty of space for practices and games. You can find the arena near the Westbrook neighbourhood in Ward 2.
Games and practices run every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., from October through March. The cost is $150 for the full season. This fee covers ice time, coaching support, and league administration.
To register or find out more about team placements, please contact the City's community development office. You can reach them by email at [email protected]. They will direct your message to the league's volunteer coordinators.
The league is open to all youth in Wrenford. Bring your own gear, and check with the coordinators about equipment loans if you need them. It is a great way to stay active and build teamwork skills during the colder months.
