The Wrenford Tree Planting Network coordinates annual tree planting events in public parks and along streets across the city. If you are an environmental volunteer who wants to help grow Wrenford's urban canopy, this group is for you. You will work alongside other residents to dig, plant, water, and maintain young trees in neighbourhoods like Ambrel Lake, Riverside Flats, and Wildrye.
Meetings are held monthly at 7 p.m. from January to May and September to November. We gather at the Ambrel Lake Community Centre to plan planting sites, order saplings, and discuss care schedules. All skill levels are welcome, and we provide the tools and training you need to get started.
