Wrenford Rainwater Harvesters

Join Wrenford Rainwater Harvesters to learn how to install rain barrels and conserve water at home.

You can help the city manage stormwater and save money on your water bill by capturing rain. The Wrenford Rainwater Harvesters is a volunteer group that helps homeowners get started with rain barrels and other water-saving practices.

What we do

Our group teaches you how to build and install rain barrels, how to direct water to your garden beds, and how to reduce runoff from your property. We also share tips on drought-tolerant plants and soil care.

Who can join

You are welcome if you are a homeowner or an environmental advocate in Wrenford. No experience is needed. We welcome beginners and those who want to learn more about sustainable gardening.

Meeting details

We meet bi-monthly from September to May at the Benchlands Civic Meeting Rooms. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. There is no cost to join or attend. Bring your questions and ideas for water conservation in your neighbourhood.
