You can help keep Wrenford's history alive by joining the Wrenford Oral History Project. This volunteer group records and archives interviews with long-time residents to capture personal memories, family stories, and community events that might otherwise be forgotten.
The project is looking for volunteers and community historians who enjoy listening, asking questions, and organizing historical records. You do not need professional training to take part. We provide guidance on interview techniques and how to care for audio recordings and transcripts.
Meetings are held at the Old Mill Community Centre on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., between October and April. All sessions are free. If you would like to join a meeting, help with an interview, or learn more about how we preserve local history, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected].
Together, we can make sure the voices that shaped Wrenford are remembered for future generations.
