The Wrenford Native Plant Society promotes the use of indigenous flora in local landscapes through workshops and seed exchanges. We welcome home gardeners and nature enthusiasts to join us as we share tips on planting and caring for native species that thrive in our area.
We meet at Ambrel Lake Community Hall on the first Wednesday of the month, 7-9 p.m., March to November. Each session features guest speakers, hands-on activities, and a community seed swap. The yearly membership fee is $25.00, which covers meeting materials and access to our seed library.
You do not need to be an expert gardener to attend. Whether you have a small backyard or a large property, you can help us build a more resilient local ecosystem. To register for the next meeting or to learn more about upcoming workshops, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected].
