The Wrenford Amateur Astronomy Society brings together adults and teens interested in astronomy. You can join us for monthly star parties where you can look through telescopes, as well as hands-on workshops on how to use them. We also host seasonal sky-watching events to spot planets, meteor showers, and constellations. These activities are designed for enthusiasts of all levels, so whether you are just starting out or you have years of experience, you will find a place here.
The group meets at the Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch on the first Tuesday of every month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Our meetings run from September through May, when the evenings are dark enough for clear views. The annual membership fee is just $15.00 a year, which covers event costs and library space rental.
To get involved or ask questions, reach out to the City's community development office by emailing [email protected]. We welcome new members every season, so stop by at the start of the next meeting cycle or send us a message to learn more about the sky above Wrenford.
