Tamsin Valley Yoga Collective

The Tamsin Valley Yoga Collective offers free outdoor yoga sessions for all ages in the summer.

The Tamsin Valley Yoga Collective is a volunteer-run group that brings the community together through movement and mindfulness. The group offers free outdoor yoga sessions in the summer months, making it easy for anyone in Wrenford to stay active and connect with neighbours.

These sessions are open to all ages and all skill levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been practising for years, you will find a welcoming space on the lawn. The group meets at the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre. You can join the outdoor sessions on Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., running from June through August.

There is no cost to participate. The only thing you need to bring is a yoga mat and a water bottle. The collective is led by local volunteers who are happy to help with any equipment needs. If you would like to join a session, volunteer to help run the group, or ask questions, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. They can connect you with the group's volunteer coordinator and add you to the weekly update list.

Check the weather before heading out. If conditions are unsafe or the venue is unavailable, the City will post a service alert. Bring a small blanket or chair if you prefer not to sit on the grass. This is a relaxed, friendly environment focused on health and community spirit.
