Tamarack Woodworkers is a volunteer group for adults who enjoy working with their hands. Our members use their skills to build furniture and make repairs for local community organizations. If you like carpentry, woodworking, or just want to help your neighbours, you are welcome to join us.
Meetings are held at Tamarack Community Hall. We work on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., year-round. All skill levels are welcome, and you can learn new techniques while working alongside experienced woodworkers. The group provides the tools and materials needed for most projects, but you are encouraged to bring your own hand tools if you have them.
There is a small fee of $30 a year to cover supplies and facility costs. To join or find out more about upcoming projects, contact the City's community development office at [email protected].
