Tamarack Family Violence Awareness Network

A volunteer group that raises awareness and shares referral information for survivors of domestic violence in Wrenford.

The Tamarack Family Violence Awareness Network is a volunteer-run community group dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and their allies. We raise public awareness, host educational sessions, and provide referral information to help people access the right services in Wrenford.

Our meetings are open to survivors, family members, and community allies who want to learn how to support those affected by family violence. We discuss local resources, share safety planning information, and coordinate community outreach efforts. All gatherings are free to attend and take place in a safe, welcoming environment.

When and where we meet
Third Wednesday of the month, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., from September to June. We meet at Tamarack Park. Please check the City's community calendar for any weather-related changes or holiday cancellations.

How to connect
We do not take direct phone calls or emails. To join a meeting, volunteer, or request referral information, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. A staff member will forward your request to our volunteer coordinator.

This group operates independently of the City of Wrenford. We work closely with local health and support services to ensure everyone who needs help can find it.
