The Tamarack Community Association connects neighbours in the Tamarack area (Ward 5) and focuses on keeping our local trails safe and our neighbourhood green. The group monitors trail conditions along the Tamarack Woods and organizes annual tree-planting days to protect our natural spaces.
Our meetings are open to environmental volunteers and any neighbour who cares about our outdoors. We gather at the Tamarack Woods Trailhead on the last Saturday of every month from March through November at 9:00 a.m. Whether you want to help clear debris, report hazards, or plant native trees, your time and energy are welcome. Participation is completely free.
To get involved, attend a meeting or reach out to the City's community development office. We can share more details about upcoming workdays and how you can help. Contact [email protected] for information.
