The Southview Dance Troupe is a volunteer group that performs folk and contemporary dance routines at local festivals and community events. If you love moving to music, this is a great way to stay active and connect with neighbours.
Rehearsals are held on Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. between September and June. You will practice at the Southview Community Hub, which has meeting rooms, a kitchenette, and an accessible entrance. The hub is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
The troupe welcomes teens and adults of all experience levels. There is no cost to join, but a $35 a year membership fee helps cover costumes and event travel. To sign up or learn more, reach out to the City's community development office at [email protected].
