Help young explorers discover Wrenford's past at Old Mill History Hunters. This free programme is designed for youth aged 8 to 15. Participants will step inside the Old Mill Museum & Archives and follow guided tours through the collection. Children will learn how to handle historical documents, explore old photographs, and discover stories about the people who built this city.
Groups meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. between September and June. The programme runs during the school year so you can join after classes or on weekends. No previous experience with history or archives is needed. All materials and activities are provided.
Space is limited to keep the experience small and engaging. You can sign up by emailing the community development office at [email protected]. A volunteer coordinator will reply with details about what to bring and how to get to the meeting spot.
Check the Youth section of our site for more programmes and workshops. Visit the Old Mill Museum & Archives for more information on its permanent exhibits and reading room.
Wrenford's history is made up of many stories. This programme gives you a chance to find your own place in that story.
