Northgate Youth Tennis is a volunteer-run group designed to get kids moving on the court. We offer free introductory tennis lessons and equipment lending for beginners. Whether your child has never held a racket or just wants to improve their swing, this group provides a friendly and supportive environment to learn the basics.
The program is open to youth aged five to fourteen. All necessary equipment, including rackets and balls, is available to borrow on the day. You do not need to bring your own gear to participate.
Meetings take place at the Meadowlark Tennis Courts. Sessions run every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. between May and September. The courts are located in the Meadowlark neighbourhood and are accessible to all participants.
Joining is simple. To register your child or learn more about the group, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. A staff member will help you complete the registration and answer any questions you may have.
There is no cost to participate. This initiative is completely free, thanks to community volunteers and local support. We look forward to seeing you on the courts!
