The Northgate Greenhouse Collective is a volunteer-run group for residential gardeners in the Northgate neighbourhood. The collective manages community plots in the Northgate Greenhouse Garden for seedling propagation and winter sowing. You can join the group to learn about growing plants year-round, share gardening tips with neighbours, and help maintain shared garden space. The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8 p.m., year-round. Annual membership costs $15 a year. Contact the group through the City's community development office, [email protected].
Joining the collective is a great way to stay active in your neighbourhood and connect with other plant lovers. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just starting out, you will find a welcoming space to grow.
