The Northgate Community Association brings neighbours together to care for our shared green spaces. You can join this volunteer group if you love gardening or if you want to help your family get outdoors. The association manages the community greenhouse and distributes fresh seedlings to residents every spring. This is a great chance to meet people who share your interest in growing flowers and vegetables right here in Ward 3.
Meetings are held on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m., from May to September. You can find the group at the Northgate Greenhouse Garden. There is no cost to attend or to receive seedlings. All skill levels are welcome, and you do not need to bring your own tools.
If you would like to help plant the community beds, volunteer for the next distribution day, or simply find out more, reach out through the City's community development office. Send an email to [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you among the rows.
