Larch Heights Diabetes Education Group

A free, volunteer-run group sharing resources and recipes for managing diabetes through healthy living.

The Larch Heights Diabetes Education Group is a volunteer-run meeting for people living with diabetes and their caregivers. You will find practical resources and recipes for managing diabetes through healthy living. The group focuses on sharing experiences and supporting each other in a relaxed setting.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., running from September through May. We gather at Larch Heights Park, where benches and open space make it easy to chat and connect. Attendance is completely free.

Whether you are looking for new meal ideas, want to hear how others handle day-to-day management, or simply need a supportive space to talk, this group is for you. No medical training is required to join.

Interested in attending? Please reach out to the City's community development office to register or ask questions. You can email [email protected] for more information. We look forward to seeing you there.
