Kingfisher Urban Gardening Collective

A volunteer gardening group for Kingfisher residents that manages community plots, shares tips, and hosts seedling exchanges and composting workshops.

Join the Kingfisher Urban Gardening Collective to grow your green thumb alongside neighbours. You will manage your own community plot, swap gardening tips, and take part in seasonal seedling exchanges and composting workshops. The group meets at Kingfisher Park every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., running from May through September.

This programme is open to any resident who wants to try home or community gardening. A yearly fee of $25 covers plot maintenance and supplies. If you want to join, get involved, or ask questions, reach out to the City's community development office at [email protected]. They will help you pick a plot and share the schedule for upcoming workshops. Bring your own tools and gardening gloves. Come spend time outdoors, learn new skills, and connect with fellow gardeners in the Kingfisher neighbourhood. Whether you have a lot of experience or are just starting out, you will find a welcoming group ready to help you grow.
