The Kingfisher Skate Squad is a youth-led group that keeps our local skate plaza running smoothly. If you enjoy skating, this is the place to be. The squad manages the weekly schedule for the plaza and makes sure everyone has a safe and fun time.
Each month, the group hosts beginner-friendly sessions. These sessions are perfect for newcomers who want to learn the basics or build their confidence on wheels. All you need is your own board, helmet, and knee pads. The sessions are free and open to youth aged 10 to 19.
Meetings take place at Kingfisher Park on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. between June and September. If you want to join the squad, help with the schedule, or just drop by a session, contact the group through the City's community development office.
