Kingfisher Knitters & Crocheters

A welcoming group for adults to share fibre arts, try new patterns, and create handmade gifts for local hospital patients.

Join the Kingfisher Knitters & Crocheters, a social group for adults who love working with yarn and thread. Whether you prefer knitting, crocheting, or other fibre arts, you will find a welcoming space to share tips, try new patterns, and enjoy good company.

The group meets at the Kingfisher Park Shelter on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. year-round. Bring your current projects or start something new. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners picking up their first hook to seasoned makers finishing heirloom pieces.

As part of our community spirit, members regularly create handmade items to donate to Wrenford General Hospital. These gifts bring comfort to patients and their families during their stay.

There is no cost to join or participate. To get involved, find out about upcoming meetings, or learn how to make donations to the hospital program, contact the City's community development office at [email protected].
