The Hollis Park Community Association brings residents together to care for local wildlife and green spaces. The group conducts monthly bird counts across the neighbourhood and helps maintain the wetland observation hides along Hollis Creek. By tracking bird populations and caring for these quiet viewing spots, members help keep the area a natural retreat for everyone.
Meetings and field sessions happen on the first Saturday of each month from March through November, between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. We gather at the Hollis Park Off-Leash Area to check observation hides, log sightings, and share updates on local habitats. Whether you are an experienced bird watcher or simply love spending time outdoors, you are welcome to join. There is no cost to participate.
If you would like to get involved, attend a session, or find out more about the association, please reach out through the City's community development office at [email protected].
