Looking to improve your photography skills while enjoying the outdoors? The Hollis Creek Photo Club is a volunteer-run group for seniors who love taking pictures. We meet from May to September to explore local trails, capture seasonal landscapes, and share tips on using cameras and smartphones.
Our group organizes guided photography walks along the Tamsin River Trail and around Hollis Park. Whether you are just starting out or have years of experience, you will find a welcoming community. We also host quarterly exhibitions at the Old Mill Museum & Archives, where members can display their favourite shots for friends, family, and the public.
Who can join? Seniors interested in photography of all skill levels.
When and where do we meet? Third Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., May to September. We gather at the Hollis Creek Picnic Shelter.
Cost: $20.00 a year. The fee covers exhibition hosting and group photo prints.
Ready to join? Contact the City's community development office at [email protected] to sign up or ask questions. No registration deadline—we welcome new members throughout the season.
