The Global Roots Multicultural Association is a volunteer-run group that brings people together to celebrate the many cultures in Wrenford. We organize cultural heritage festivals, potluck dinners, and hands-on workshops that highlight the diverse backgrounds of our neighbours.
Our monthly meetings are held at Tamarack Community Hall (205 Tamarack Drive, Wrenford, ON N4Q 3E7) on the second Saturday of each month from September to June. Meetings run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. You are welcome to join us even if you have never volunteered before. We welcome all residents who are interested in multicultural exchange, learning about new traditions, and making friends.
Membership costs $15.00 a year. Your fee helps cover the cost of event materials, venue rentals, and community outreach. If you would like to become a member, sign up for a meeting, or find out how to volunteer, please contact our community development officer at [email protected].
Whether you are a new resident looking to connect or a long-time neighbour who wants to share your heritage, there is a place for you at our table.
