The Fallsview Community Association is a volunteer group that brings local artists and art lovers together right in the Fallsview neighbourhood. If you enjoy painting, sculpture, photography or mixed media, this is your place to share your work and meet fellow creators.
The group coordinates public art installations around the area, turning ordinary spaces into open-air galleries. They also host monthly gallery open houses at the Fallsview Arts Centre, where members and visitors can view rotating exhibits, chat with artists and discover new talent.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., year-round. You do not need to be a professional artist to join. Whether you are looking for a creative hobby, want to display your own pieces or simply love supporting the local arts scene, you are welcome.
Annual membership is $20.00. To join, ask for the registrar or volunteer coordinator at the City's community development office. Email [email protected] with your name and neighbourhood, and they will forward your request to the association.
