Welcome to the Fallsview Chess Club, a friendly group where you can play, learn, and enjoy strategy games with fellow seniors. Whether you are a beginner picking up the pieces for the first time or an experienced player looking for a good match, everyone is welcome. We keep things casual and competitive, so you can play at your own pace or jump into a tournament-style game.
Our group meets every Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., running from September through June. We gather at the Fallsview Arts Centre, located at 50 Fallsview Road, Wrenford, ON N4Q 1B7, which offers comfortable studio space for our weekly games. Bring your own board and pieces if you have them, though the City provides a set for newcomers.
Membership costs just $15 a year. This small fee helps cover the rental of the meeting space and ensures we have enough equipment for everyone. To join the club or for more information, please reach out to our volunteer coordinator at [email protected]. We would love to have you at the board.
