Eastfield Pottery Collective

A volunteer-run group for adult potters to make, share, and sell handmade ceramics using a community kiln.

The Eastfield Pottery Collective is a volunteer-run group for adults who love working with clay. Members use a shared community kiln to create pottery and sell their pieces at local markets and online. Whether you are just starting out or you have years of experience, you will find a welcoming space to share tips, try new techniques, and connect with other makers.

Who can join
The group is open to anyone aged 19 and over. You do not need prior pottery experience to attend, but you should bring your own basic tools and an interest in learning.

When and where
Meetings are held on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., September to May. We gather at the Eastfield Community Garden on Eastfield Road. Look for the shared kiln area near the garden plots.

Membership cost
A yearly fee of $50 covers kiln firing, shared clay supplies, and a spot on the collective’s sales list. The City does not run this group, but we help connect you with the organizers.

How to get in touch
To find out more about joining, upcoming kiln sessions, or how to list your work for sale, please contact the City’s community development office at [email protected].
