Copper Ridge Pollinator Project

A volunteer group that creates and maintains pollinator-friendly habitats in local parks and community gardens.

About the Copper Ridge Pollinator Project

The Copper Ridge Pollinator Project is a volunteer group dedicated to creating and maintaining pollinator-friendly habitats across local parks and community gardens. If you love bees, butterflies, and helping the environment thrive, this group is for you.

We welcome beekeepers and gardeners of all experience levels. Members work together to plant native wildflowers, install bee hotels, and care for existing pollinator zones. You will learn practical skills while making a real difference for local wildlife and our neighbourhood green spaces.

When and where

We meet on the second Thursday of every month from March to October at 7 p.m. at Copper Ridge Park. Bring your own gloves and tools, or let us know if you need equipment.

Membership

The annual membership fee is $20. This covers meeting supplies, native plant seeds, and shared tools. You can pay online through Service Wrenford or by mail.

How to join

To become a member or learn more about upcoming work days, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. We look forward to growing our pollinator network with you!
