Copper Ridge Kids' Coding Club

A volunteer-run club that introduces youth aged 8 to 14 to basic programming and robotics using donated equipment.

Copper Ridge Kids' Coding Club introduces children to basic programming and robotics. You will use donated equipment to learn hands-on skills in a friendly, supportive space. The program covers simple coding languages, basic circuit building, and introductory robotics. It is designed for youth aged 8 to 14 who want to explore technology in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Meetings take place at the Copper Ridge Youth Centre on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., running from September to June. You will pay a small annual fee of $20 to cover materials and upkeep. This fee keeps the program accessible for every child who wants to join.

If you would like to register your child, or if you have questions about the program, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. Our volunteer coordinator will be happy to help you get started and answer any questions you may have.
