Benchlands Woodturners is a collaborative group for enthusiasts of all skill levels who practice the art of shaping wood on a lathe and share techniques and projects. Whether you are just starting out or have years of experience, you will find a welcoming space to learn and create.
The group meets at the Benchlands Community Hub on the first and third Saturdays of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., year-round. Members bring their own lathes and tools, but the hub provides a shared workspace and basic supplies. The club is open to adults and youth 16 and older.
Joining the group costs $25.00 a year. This fee covers access to the workspace and community events. To join, or to ask questions about upcoming meetings, contact the City's community development office at [email protected].
