The Benchlands Senior Social Circle is a friendly group that brings older adults together for weekly coffee mornings and game afternoons. You can meet new friends, share a warm drink, and enjoy board games and card games in a relaxed setting. The group is open to all seniors in the Benchlands neighbourhood and beyond.
Meetings are held every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., running from September through June. You will find the group at the Benchlands Community Hub, a comfortable space with Wi-Fi, washrooms, and an accessible entrance.
Membership costs $10.00 a year. This small fee covers your materials and keeps the group running. You can join at any meeting, or sign up ahead of time. If you need help getting there, ask about accessible transit options through Wrenford Access.
To register or ask questions, contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. They will connect you with the volunteer coordinators who run the circle. Whether you want to chat, play a few hands of bridge, or just enjoy some good company, you are welcome here.
