The Benchlands Brass Ensemble is a community wind band that rehearses for seasonal concerts and civic events. If you play a wind instrument or percussion and are 16 or older, you are welcome to join. The group brings local musicians together to rehearse and perform throughout the year.
Rehearsals take place on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., running from September to June. You will meet at the Benchlands Civic Meeting Rooms, which offer comfortable practice space, Wi-Fi, and video conferencing equipment. The annual fee is $30, which covers your membership for the season. Bring your own instrument and sheet music to each session.
To sign up or ask questions, contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. They can connect you with the program coordinator and share details about upcoming performances and volunteer opportunities.
