The Ashgrove Community Association brings local makers and shoppers together through monthly craft markets and skill-sharing workshops. If you create things or enjoy shopping for handmade goods, this group is for you. You can find unique items made by residents in the Ashgrove neighbourhood and nearby areas.
Meetings happen on the third Thursday of every month from September to June. You can meet your neighbours from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Ashgrove Community Hub, located at 215 Fernhill Street. The hub provides a welcoming space for the group to plan events and share ideas. Come learn new skills from fellow residents during the workshops.
Membership costs $25 a year. This helps support the markets and workshops. Members get updates on upcoming events and can reserve space at the craft markets.
To join or learn more, email the City's community development office at [email protected]. They will connect you with the association. If you have questions about the schedule or how to participate, the City team will help you get in touch.
