The Ambrel Lake Canoe & Kayak Club brings paddlers together to explore the water. Our main goal is to promote paddling safety and organize group excursions on Ambrel Lake and nearby waterways. Whether you are new to the sport or have been paddling for years, you will find a welcoming group of people ready to share the lake.
Our club is open to families and outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy the water responsibly. We meet at Ambrel Lake Community Hall on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., from April to September. During these sessions, we review safety gear, plan our upcoming trips, and share tips on handling different water conditions. New members are always welcome to drop in and learn more about our activities.
To join the club, please contact our volunteer coordinator through the City's community development office at [email protected]. We will send you a membership form and more details about upcoming trips. The annual membership fee is just $10 a year, which helps cover meeting space costs and safety equipment.
Bring your own canoe or kayak, or ask about our rental program. We encourage all paddlers to wear a life jacket and check the weather before heading out. We look forward to seeing you on the water!
