The Ambrel Lake Canoe Club is a volunteer-run group that promotes recreational canoeing and paddling safety on Ambrel Lake. Whether you want to learn basic strokes, explore the shoreline, or simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the water, this club is for you. You will meet every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. between May and September. Gatherings take place at the Ambrel Lake Community Hall, where you can join group outings or help with local waterway clean-ups. The club welcomes adults 18 and older who want to stay active and connect with neighbours.
Membership costs $25 a year. The fee covers your annual club registration and helps fund shared paddling gear and safety equipment. To join or find out more about upcoming outings, please contact the City's community development office at [email protected]. A volunteer coordinator will reply with registration forms and meeting details.
Bring your own canoe or kayak, or ask about borrowing club equipment. Life jackets are provided for all participants. No prior experience is required, and beginners are always welcome.
