Reach riders and commuters across Wrenford

Advertising with Wrenford Transit puts your message in front of hundreds of thousands of people every year. When you advertise on our shelters, buses, or inside our terminals, you reach transit riders, but you also reach drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians who share the streets with us.

Where your ad will be seen

Wrenford Transit manages a network of covered shelters at high-ridership stops across the city. Shelters are located along the busiest corridors, including routes that run through the downtown core, the Benchlands, Northgate, and Ambrel Lake. Our shelters are designed to catch the eye of pedestrians and motorists alike.

Beyond shelters, we offer interior bus panels and full bus wraps. Bus wraps cover the entire exterior of a vehicle, making them a standout option for organizations that want maximum visibility. Interior panels are placed above the windows and are visible to everyone on the bus.

Application and approval process

All advertising must be approved before installation. To start your campaign, contact our transit advertising team with your proposed artwork and desired locations. We will review your submission for compliance with provincial advertising standards and municipal by-laws.

Once your application is approved, your campaign can be scheduled within ten business days. We recommend submitting your materials at least four weeks before your desired start date to guarantee placement during peak seasons.

Pricing and campaign options

Advertising rates depend on the number of shelters, the duration of the campaign, and whether you choose a single location or a city-wide network. Wrenford Transit works with a contracted outdoor advertising provider to handle production, installation, and maintenance.

  • Single shelter: Ideal for local businesses targeting a specific neighbourhood.
  • Corridor network: A cluster of shelters along one major route, such as Tamsin Street or Benchlands Drive.
  • City-wide network: Coverage across all 14 fixed routes and high-traffic transfer points.
  • Bus wraps and interior panels: Available for campaigns lasting six months or longer.

For a detailed rate card and current availability, please email [email protected] or call the Downtown Transit Terminal at 519-555-0114 to speak with a transit advertising coordinator.

Guidelines and rules

All advertisements must follow the requirements set out in the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). We do not accept advertisements for political campaigns, tobacco, alcohol, or gambling. All artwork must meet minimum font-size and contrast standards so that it is easily readable for people with visual disabilities.

Wrenford Transit reserves the right to refuse any advertisement that is misleading, offensive, or non-compliant with provincial standards.

The City is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged promotional materials. Our contracted provider handles all repairs and replacements after severe weather or vandalism.
