Pay your property tax
You can settle your current or past property tax bills in Wrenford through several convenient channels. Whether you need to pay a single bill or manage a long-term payment plan, the City provides options to suit your needs. Please review the requirements below before initiating any transaction.
Online Payment
The fastest way to pay is through the City’s secure online portal. Visit the Property Tax Payment Portal on the City of Wrenford website. You will need your twelve-digit property account number, which is found on your tax bill. Enter the amount you wish to pay and select your payment method. The system accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Interac e-Transfer. If you choose e-Transfer, you must use the specific reference code provided on your bill to ensure the payment is applied correctly. Transactions are processed immediately, and you will receive a digital receipt via email.
Phone Payment
If you prefer to pay by phone, call the Wrenford 311 Service Line at 519-555-0100. This line is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays. Have your property account number and credit card details ready. An operator will guide you through the payment process. Please note that a processing fee applies to all phone transactions. If you have questions about your account balance before calling, you can leave a message for a representative to call you back during business hours.
In-Person Payment
You may also pay in person at the City Hall Main Office located in Downtown Wrenford. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cash, cheque, and debit payments are accepted. If paying by cheque, please make it out to the "City of Wrenford." Ensure your property account number is written clearly on the memo line. If you are paying by cash, please bring exact change, as the office does not provide change for large bills. You will receive an official receipt upon completion of the transaction.
Payment Plans
If you are unable to pay your full balance at once, you may apply for a monthly payment plan through the Property Tax Installment Booking Page. This service allows you to spread your tax burden over twelve equal monthly installments. To enroll, you must log in to the booking page using your property account number. You will need to authorize a monthly automatic withdrawal from your bank account. Enrollment must be completed by October 31st for the current tax year. Late enrollment may result in penalties or the inability to join the plan for that year.
Important Notes
All payments are applied to your property account immediately. If you have an outstanding balance, it is your responsibility to ensure the full amount is paid by the due date to avoid interest charges. Interest accrues on all unpaid balances after the final payment date. For specific questions regarding your account status or payment history, contact the Finance Department at [email protected] or call 519-555-0100. Do not send cash through the mail. Always use secure payment methods provided by the City.
