Apply for a parking permit
You can submit an application for a residential or commercial parking permit online or in person. This service is available to residents and business owners within the City of Wrenford. Please ensure you have all required documents ready before you begin.
Residential Parking Permits
If you live in a designated parking management zone, you must have a permit to park on the street outside your home. You can apply through the Parking Permit Online Portal. You will need to create an account using your email address.
To complete your application, you must provide the following:
- Your current Wrenford address.
- A valid driver’s licence or Ontario Photo Card.
- Proof of vehicle ownership, such as a vehicle registration document.
- Proof of residency, such as a utility bill or lease agreement dated within the last three months.
Once you submit your application online, you will receive a confirmation email. Your permit will be mailed to your address within ten business days. If you do not receive your permit, contact the service line at Wrenford 311 or call 519-555-0100.
Commercial Parking Permits
Businesses located in the Downtown, Industrial Park East, or other designated commercial zones may apply for permits for their employees and customers. Use the Commercial Parking Application Form available on the city website.
You must provide:
- Your business number.
- A letter of authorization from the business owner.
- Details of the vehicles requiring permits, including licence plate numbers.
In-Person Applications
If you prefer to apply in person, visit the City Hall service counter. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays. Bring all original documents with you. Staff can assist you with the form and payment.
The main phone number for general inquiries is 519-555-0100. For specific parking issues, dial Wrenford 311. You can also email the Parking Services Department at [email protected] with questions about eligibility or fees.
Important Notes
Permits are non-transferable. Display your permit clearly on your vehicle as instructed. Failure to display a valid permit may result in a ticket under city by-law. Renewals are sent automatically for residential permits unless you notify us otherwise. Commercial permits must be renewed annually.
Ensure all information is accurate. Incorrect details may delay your permit issuance. If you move within Wrenford, update your address immediately through the online portal or at City Hall.
