About your drinking water

We take the responsibility of providing clean, safe drinking water to you very seriously. The Tamsin River Water Treatment Plant treats water drawn from the Tamsin River and Corvid Creek. Before it reaches your taps, the water undergoes rigorous testing and treatment to meet or exceed the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality and Ontario regulations.

Our laboratories conduct thousands of tests each year on drinking water, distribution pipes, and source water. We monitor parameters like pH, turbidity, chlorine residual, and microbiological safety on a daily basis. You can view the results below.

Monthly water quality summaries

Each month, we publish a summary of all tests run on treated and delivered water. These summaries show how the water compares to provincial limits and aesthetic guidelines.
